The Bible references orphans and adoption over 52 times because of its importance to the Father. About half of these verses
describe God's heart for this specific group of children. The other half pertain to Christians' mission to protect, give
justice to and provide for "the least of these."
Orphan care is evident in the lives of all adoptive families; however, most families feel the burden to take the next
step - that next step from making the difference in your own adopted child(ren)'s life, to caring for the next child waiting to
be loved by their own family. In other words: becoming an orphan advocate. America World can help you bridge this gap.
In whatever capacity that you feel called to be involved with advocating on behalf of orphans, America World wants to support and

America World has set up three of our own orphan advocacy initiatives - each uniquely designed to serve and support both
orphaned children and the families pursuing adoption. Prayerfully consider if you might be called to participate in one of these.

Provide older orphans with their plane ticket to the USA to meet their potential adoptive family for the first time.
"Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed."

Eternal Family Program -
Provide an adoptive family with financial assistance on their journey to bring their child home.
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress..."

How can you help just one orphan today?
- Give: 100% of all proceeds given to America World’s orphan advocacy efforts go directly to helping
the fatherless. We are not seeking to build our kingdom; rather we use these gifts to help build God’s Kingdom.
- Pray: Ministry cannot be measured by money alone. More than anything else, we need the
Lord’s help to sustain our ministry and help us to accomplish His mandate to advocate on behalf
of these children whose cries, too often, go unheard.
- Share: Consider telling your friends, family and community about your own adoption story, your orphan
advocacy efforts or about America World's mission and vision. Every person has the power to help inform and influence
others to understand the need and importance of caring for orphans.
