The 2012 Calendar Contest is currently underway! You may start submitting your photos now- don't wait until the last minute!
How it works:
- Email your pictures to media@awaa.org (preferred)
- Mail your entries (placed on a CD or flash memory card that will not be returned) to our corporate office
- Include the following family information:
- Last name (for AWAA’s purposes only- last names will not be featured on the actual calendars)
- Names of all photographed persons
- Country of all adopted children
- Include a completed Media Consent Form.* All forms must contain handwritten signatures. Media Consent Forms may be:
- Printed, signed, scanned and emailed back to America World at media@awaa.org
- Printed, signed and mailed back to AW
- Printed, signed and faxed to AW at 888-466-8922
*A note about the Media Consent Form: This form has been modified since last year’s contest. We would still like to collect it again this year
from each family, but once we have it, we will not ask for it again, as it will apply in perpetuity.
- If you have already filled out this new form, you do not need to sign it again.
- If you’re not sure, please email media@awaa.org and we will check our files.
- If you have concerns about signing this form, please contact us as well.
A Few Rules:
- Limit 5 photos per family
- Pictures may include one or multiple children/ family members
- Must include a signed release form (see above)
- NO physical pictures
- Quality= 300 dpi/ no less than 1 MB
- Received no later than Friday, September 23rd
Entries:
Technical shooting tips, get as close to the subject as possible. Also, no matter
how good a photo is, we can't use it if it isn't in focus. We will only consider
high-quality, sharp photos.
*Additional calendars will be available as free gifts for every $15 donation to America
World's Orphan's Ticket
Home campaign.*
Just be sure to note in your donation the amount of calendars that you would like
to receive with your donation.
