Processing Time
|
Application to paperwork filed in country, approximately 6-8 months. Filing date in China through arriving home with child through the Healthy Referral Program varies as the wait time continues to increase each month. Please reference our blog for a current update on the waiting time. Waiting Children (WC) Program wait time for referrals varies depending on the age/gender/special need being considered. Family can identify a waiting child from AWAA list immediately at start of paper-chase. Families open to unrepaired conditions, boys, or children over the age of 4 years will have a shorter wait time. Families open to female age 0-2 with minor repaired conditions will wait longer for a referral. Based upon these factors, wait time varies from 0-24 months from time of joining the WC program.
