Over the years, America World has been honored to place thousands of boys and girls with their forever families, many of these children from Eastern European countries. We are excited to introduce a Waiting Children program for our Eastern Europe department. At this very moment, there are still hundreds of children who are waiting for their forever families.
There are
waiting children throughout Eastern Europe
who are between the ages of 14 months to 15 years. Many of these children have been prepared for international adoption and are simply
waiting to be adopted.
Similar to the China program, there are both boys and girls who are healthy older children or children of all ages who have medical and/or specials needs. Families can review referrals immediately upon entering the program.
Prospective families are invited to learn more about the program by calling or emailing the America World Office to speak to an adoption professional. The various needs that these children have can range anywhere between children with limb deformities, a hearing/vision impairment, heart defect, club foot, Hepatitis B or C positive, spine deformity, brain conditions or developmental delays to a child who is simply older in age. Children five years and older usually fall into the Waiting Children category, even if they do not have a special need. This is due to very limited number of requests for older children.
The password protected website is for America World families who are currently participating in an Eastern Europe program or previous clients who are thinking of beginning another adoption process.
