America World strives to help children who are considered harder to place find loving families. Our Waiting Children program is dedicated to making these matches possible.

Who Are Waiting Children?

Waiting children are orphans who are ready and available for adoption. Some may be older, while others may be a part of a sibling group or have medical or developmental needs. Each child is hoping for a family that will love and support them.

Photolistings and Profiles

Our Waiting Children pages feature photos and profiles of children currently seeking families. Due to country regulations, we can currently share profiles for children in Colombia and Eastern Europe. For information about waiting children in India or Ecuador, please email us at info@awaa.org.
