Julia Norris, B.A.

Chief Operating Officer

Julia Norris joined America World in 1999 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer. Over the course of her tenure, she has held a variety of roles that have given her a broad and practical understanding of the organization’s mission, programs, operations, and the families it serves.

As COO, Julia helps lead America World’s day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, program support, compliance, and internal systems. She is committed to strengthening America World’s mission-centered work so the organization can serve vulnerable children and support families with excellence, compassion, and faithfulness.

Julia holds a B.A. in International Relations and has a background in investigations. She has traveled to 30 countries, experiences that have deepened her commitment to global child welfare, family preservation, adoption, and humanitarian care.

As a mother of two children through adoption, Julia’s connection to America World’s mission is both professional and deeply personal. Outside of work, she enjoys sailing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
