Oklahoma Home Study Coordinator
Leslie Klamm serves America World families in Oklahoma, conducting home studies, post-placement visits, and reports. She brings decades of experience in child welfare and adoption, along with a deeply personal understanding of the joys and challenges of caring for children through foster care and adoption.
Leslie and her husband fostered children for more than 11 years and welcomed more than 35 children into their home. Their family eventually adopted one of the teenagers placed in their care. This personal experience has given Leslie a unique perspective as she walks alongside families pursuing adoption.
Leslie holds a Master of Education and has extensive professional experience in child welfare and adoption. Her career includes nearly a decade with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Child Welfare Services, followed by serving as Coordinator of Holsinger Home for Children with Oklahoma United Methodist Circle of Care. She later served as Executive Director and Child Placement Supervisor for Adoption Services of Oklahoma. Leslie has also conducted domestic and international home studies as a contractor for private adoption agencies and the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
With her combination of professional expertise and firsthand experience as a foster and adoptive parent, Leslie is passionate about supporting families throughout their adoption journey and helping them prepare to welcome a child into their home.
Outside of work, Leslie enjoys cross-stitching and reading.
